• सामाजिक सुरक्षा प्रणाली – सामाजिक सुरक्षा एक साझा सुरक्षा जाल है। सब कर और अंशदान के ज़रिए एक साझा कोष में पैसा डालते हैं, और जब कोई बीमार पड़ता है, बूढ़ा होता है, काम खोता है या दिव्यांग होता है तो कोष उसकी मदद करता है। यह तीन स्तंभों पर खड़ी है: स्वास्थ्य (बीमारी को पहले रोकना), इलाज (इलाज का खर्च उठाना) और कल्याण (रोज़ के जीवन में सहारा)।

• मानव विकास: अर्थ, जीवन-काल दृष्टिकोण और प्रभाव – विकास परिवर्तन का वह क्रम है जो गर्भधारण से शुरू होकर पूरे जीवन चलता है। इसमें वृद्धि (आकार में बढ़ोतरी), परिपक्वता (जैविक समय-सारिणी से होने वाले बदलाव) और अनुभव से सीखना शामिल है। जीवन-काल दृष्टिकोण कहता है कि विकास जीवनपर्यंत, बहुआयामी, बहुदिशात्मक, लचीला, ऐतिहासिक परिस्थितियों से प्रभावित, बहुविषयी और संदर्भगत है। इसमें जैविक, संज्ञानात्मक और सामाजिक-संवेगात्मक प्रक्रियाएँ एक-दूसरे पर असर डालती हैं। विकास आनुवंशिकता (जीन-प्ररूप) और पर्यावरण के मेल से होता है, जिससे दिखने वाले लक्षण (लक्षण-प्ररूप) बनते हैं। संदर्भ महत्त्वपूर्ण हैं: ब्रॉनफ़ेनब्रेनर ने सूक्ष्म, मध्य, बाह्य, वृहद् और कालानुक्रमिक तंत्र बताए, और दुर्गानंद सिन्हा ने भारतीय बच्चे के परिवेश को भीतरी और बाहरी परतों में समझाया।

• सूचना नैतिकता और सुरक्षा – सूचना नैतिकता का मतलब है जानकारी के साथ सही व्यवहार: दूसरों की निजता का सम्मान, सच बोलना, श्रेय देना और किसी को नुकसान न पहुँचाना। सूचना सुरक्षा का मतलब है जानकारी को उन लोगों से बचाना जिन्हें उसे देखना या बदलना नहीं चाहिए: पासवर्ड, ताला (एन्क्रिप्शन), अपडेट, बैकअप और साफ़ नियमों से। दोनों की शुरुआत एक आदत से होती है: शेयर करने से पहले सोचो।
