South 고등학교 1학년 Common Korean 2
Chapters: 6
1. Listening and speaking
Audience-centred presentations · Negotiation · Responsible speech in society
- Presentation Skills: Speaking to an Audience – A good presentation is planned for its audience and purpose, has a clear opening, body and closing, uses simple slides that support (not replace) the speaker, and is delivered with a clear voice, eye contact and good timing. Practice turns nerves into confidence.
- Negotiation – Negotiation is talking to reach an agreement when two people or groups want different things. What each side says it wants is its position; the reason behind it is its interest. By asking "why" and listening, both sides can often find a win-win deal that meets both interests. A good negotiation follows stages: prepare, open, explore, bargain and agree.
2. Reading
Viewpoints in multimodal texts · Comparing texts on one topic · Social reading
- Media Literacy – Media literacy is the skill of reading, questioning and creating media: news, ads, videos, posts, films and games. Every media text is made by someone, for a purpose, for an audience, using forms, conventions and techniques that shape how we feel. A media-literate person checks the source, evidence, other coverage and the original before believing or sharing, notices bias and filter bubbles, and makes their own media responsibly.
