Who we are
CodingMarble Learn (learn.codingmarble.com) is run by CodingMarble. You can contact us at support@codingmarble.com.
What we collect
You can read every lesson without an account. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number. Like any website, our server keeps ordinary technical logs, such as your IP address, the time, the page you asked for and your browser type. We use them to keep the site working and to stop abuse.
The site remembers a few things inside your own browser, for example which lessons you finished and when to remind you to revise. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Advertising and cookies
This site is free and is paid for by advertising. We show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies or similar technology to show and measure ads, and may use them to show ads based on your earlier visits to this or other websites.
Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent before such cookies are set. You can turn off personalised advertising in your Google account at adssettings.google.com, and you can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can also block cookies in your browser settings. The lessons still work without them.
Notifications (optional)
If you allow notifications when your browser asks, we store the address your browser gives us for sending them, the matching encryption keys, the page you allowed them on, your browser and device type (for example Chrome, Android) and the date. We do not store your name, email, phone number or IP address for this, and we do not share or sell it. We send a few notifications a month at most. Students under 18 should ask a parent or teacher before pressing Allow. To stop notifications, open your browser's site settings for this website and set Notifications to Block; the stored address is then deleted automatically the next time we try to send.
Children
The lessons are written for school students. The site has no accounts, comments or uploads, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Students under 18 should ask a parent or teacher before allowing notifications.
Your choices
You can block cookies and notifications in your browser at any time, and you can clear the information the site keeps in your browser by clearing the site data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
