• रूपांतरण: कहानी किताब से फ़िल्म, नाटक या गेम तक कैसे पहुँचती है – रूपांतरण (adaptation) एक नई रचना है जो किसी पुरानी रचना (स्रोत) की कहानी को दूसरे माध्यम में फिर से कहती है, जैसे उपन्यास से फ़िल्म, नाटक, कॉमिक, धारावाहिक या गेम। हर माध्यम की अपनी ताक़त और सीमा है, इसलिए कुछ हटाना, मिलाना, बदलना और जोड़ना पड़ता है। रूपांतरण वफ़ादार, ढीला या खुला (नई जगह-समय में) हो सकता है। तुलना करते समय पूछो: क्या बदला, क्यों बदला, और इससे अर्थ कैसे बदला।
